Iguazu Falls

Situated on the border of Brazil and Argentina, Iguazu Falls is one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the world, and is protected within the Iguazu National Park. The best experience at the park is the famous Macuco Safari. Jeeps will take you through the jungle to a motorized raft that speeds up the river directly into the cascades. You will get soaked, but it is sure to be one of the most thrilling rides of your life.

Fun Facts

• The majority of the falls are on the Argentinean side, making the view from the Brazilian side more panoramic.

• The name Iguazu comes from the Guarani native language meaning plentiful water.

• Legend has it that a deity sliced the river out of a jealous rage when his betrothed fled with her lover on a canoe, condemning them to an eternal fall.

Exclusive Experiences

• Privatize a helicopter ride for a full 360 view of the falls.

• The Iguazu River turns into the Parana River, which flows through Argentina, Brazil and Paraguay. Charter a sunset cruise to reach the meeting point of these three countries.

• Stay at the only hotel inside Brazil’s Iguazu National Park. This five star property allows access to the falls when the park is closed to tourists.
